Happy Republic Day folks!
I have been working on this composition for some time now and today is the most auspicious day to unveil it – for the song brings forth the feeling of unity, calmness and the gift of a rich heritage.
Vande Mataram (literally - "I bow to thee, Mother") was written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. The song's first two verses were officially given the status of The National Song of the Republic of India.
Inspired by A.R. Rahman's "Vande Matarram - Revival", this composition is my humble attempt at rendering this beautiful song with my background score.
Please listen to it and share it on your wall, with your friends and with people who love music.
