Karma Rules

I've pondered on how it works When I connect the dots Clues I've been searching for Spoke about my past, after all I followed my footsteps Back to a million moons I saw my shadow there Holding a torch, leading the way For time and time again I have come to realize In comfort, and in pain Karma rules, again and again! Fearless, you might be Carving your own destiny Having the power to think Flaunting the courage to act Chances hold the key You say, to your gain and loss Think again and you'll find Fate and deeds go hand in hand For time and time again I have come to realize In comfort, and in pain Karma rules, again and again! It starts with a seed of thought With the power and right to ask The path of right and wrong Is open for you to walk Your fate shapes your destiny Your deeds seal your fate In this game of cat and mouse Wishing to sin or not is your only choice For time and time again I have come to realize In comfort, and in pain Karma rules, again and again!

I am become Death

When Arjuna refused to fight in Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna started preaching him about the absolute truth and assumed his 'vishwaroopa' form. Then he said "I am terrible time, the destroyer of all (demoniac) beings in all worlds, engaged to destroy all beings in this world; of those heroic soldiers presently situated in the opposing army. Even without you, none will be spared." (translated version, ref: Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 11, Verse 32 ) The verse above was quoted by J. Robert Oppenheimer as "Now I am Become Death, the destroyer of worlds" . In my lyrics below, I have used the phrase I am become Death in a different context.
